Tested, compliant, and built for African conditions. PLAYSaFE® is South Africa’s only dedicated playground surfacing manufacturer and distribution company, delivering wet-pour rubber surfacing systems engineered for verified impact attenuation, durability, and long-term performance across playgrounds, schools, parks, and public spaces.

Safety you can specify with confidence.
Impact-attenuating surfacing systems designed for durability, performance, and compliance across a wide range of outdoor applications.
Recycling with
purpose.
Rubber surfaces made from recycled tyres, supporting a circular economy while reducing landfill waste and environmental impact.
Wet-Pour Rubber Surfacing Systems
PLAYSaFE® provides wet-pour rubber surfacing systems engineered for certified safety, durability, and long-term performance in demanding African outdoor environments.
As South Africa’s only dedicated playground surfacing manufacturer and distributor, PLAYSaFE® systems are installed using a wet-pour rubber process that binds selected rubber and aggregate materials on site to create seamless, durable, performance-driven surfaces.
Each system is engineered as a complete build-up in accordance with SANS 51177 playground surfacing compliance / EN 1177 — from base preparation through to the finished surface — delivering verified safety performance, effective drainage, durability, and long-term reliability across playgrounds, pathways, public spaces, and specialist applications.
Wet-Pour System Features
Recycled Rubber Core
Manufactured using high-quality recycled rubber as a core component of PLAYSaFE® wet-pour surfacing systems, supporting consistent performance and long-term durability.
Reduced Environmental Impact
Repurposes post-consumer rubber, contributing to waste reduction and lower embodied carbon without compromising system performance.
Permeable by Design
The porous structure of PLAYSaFE® wet-pour systems allows effective drainage, reducing surface water accumulation and slip risk in outdoor environments.
Slip-Resistant Performance
Textured finishes and engineered system composition provide reliable grip in both wet and dry conditions.
Impact Safety Where Required
System build-ups can be engineered and tested to meet Critical Fall Height requirements in accordance with SANS 51177 / EN 1177 where impact protection is required.
Designed for African Conditions
Designed to withstand high UV exposure, temperature extremes, and seasonal rainfall. Read more about Durability & Performance in African Conditions.
